I was very glad that in the end I was able to find the time and make it.
Even if just to attend the round-table about the subject – “Challenges of teaching traditional music”. How could I miss the “2º Encontro de Música Tradicional Portuguesa”, organized by “Cardo Amarelo”?
I was very well received by Nina and Antony – Thank you guys!
It was awesome to see familiar faces of people that, like me, have been “at it” for more than 20 years. I’m very happy to still see everyone so much engaged into making Trad.folk music a daily part of people’s life in Portugal.
This whole movement seems very much in sync with the World Music School movement in Helsinki. I can only hope that we may work all together very very soon in our common goal!
Cheers! Keep it up Cardo Amarelo!
